Manchester Barton to host first ‘Pride in Aviation Event’

City Airport & Heliport (Manchester Barton), has announced its first ‘Pride in Aviation’ event, co-coinciding with the world famous Manchester Pride, on Sunday 27th August !

The event is designed to demonstrate and encourage LGBT acceptance within the aviation community, whilst also promoting the pride, passion and interest that all those involved in aviation have with the sport, hobby and for many their flying career.

Featuring a daytime Pride Fly-In, with free landings for visiting aircraft (overnight camping permitted), followed by an evening of live music and entertainment from Alibi (www.facebook.com/alibigum) covers band and ellie-x (@countrymuso) a trans country and folk musician, within City Airport’s ‘Runway 26‘ Cafe & Bar. The event is open to all ages.
